How do I know whether my RAM is affected?
Use the official NHTSA recall lookup with your vehicle identification number. A matching model and year cannot establish whether an individual vehicle is included in a campaign.
Why do official Ram recall records say Chrysler or FCA US?
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is the reporting manufacturer named in the linked Ram camera campaigns. A corporate manufacturer name can cover several vehicle brands. Check the affected-model list and the campaign number rather than assuming every vehicle from those brands is included.
Does a radio update complete every Ram camera recall?
No. The two camera campaigns linked above have different NHTSA and manufacturer campaign numbers. Ask Mopar or an authorized dealer which campaign applies to your VIN and whether its specific remedy is recorded as complete. An unrelated software update is not confirmation of recall completion.
Are recall repairs free?
The official campaign record describes the manufacturer’s remedy and eligibility. Contact an authorized RAM dealer with your VIN to confirm the repair available for your vehicle.
