Campaigns in this briefing

Ram 1500: rear seat-belt buckle anchors

The second-row buckle anchors may have been installed incorrectly. Dealers will inspect and attach the anchors to the body as necessary. The recall concerns the anchorage, rather than a universal replacement of the seat belts.

• Owner notification: The current record still lists August 18, 2026 as the expected mailing date; completion is not confirmed by that wording.
• Defect: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019-2026 Ram 1500 vehicles. The second-row center and left-side seat belt buckle anchors may have been improperly installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, “Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages.”
• Safety consequence: An improperly installed seat belt buckle anchor may fail to properly restrain occupants, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
• Remedy: Dealers will inspect and attach the seat belt buckle anchor to the body structure as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 18, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler’s number for this recall is 67D. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov on August 6, 2026.

Ford Bronco: underhood wiring fire risk

The engine-compartment wiring can become damaged and short-circuit. Ford’s remedy adds protective sheathing. The campaign uses different notification phases for Bronco and Bronco Raptor groups, so owners should confirm the stage for their VIN.

• Owner notification: The current record reports letters mailed August 5, 2026 and also describes model-specific notification phases; it does not establish that every phase is complete.
• Defect: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2026 Bronco and Bronco Raptor vehicles. The engine compartment wiring harness may become damaged and short circuit.
• Safety consequence: A short circuit in the engine compartment can create heat or spark, increasing the risk of a fire.
• Remedy: Dealers will install sheathing over the wiring, free of charge. This is a Phased campaign. Phase 1 will include 2026 Bronco Raptor notified owners on 7/31/2026. Phase 2 will include 2021-2025 Bronco Raptor vehicle will notify owners on or about 8/14/2026. Phase 3 will include 2021-2026 Bronco will notify owners on or about 9/1/2026. Owner notification letters were mailed August 5, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 26S55. Subaru: incorrect axle-weight certification labels

The issue is the printed Gross Axle Weight Rating on the certification label. Subaru will provide a replacement label; owners may also have a dealer install it free of charge. A model name alone does not establish whether its label is affected.

• Report received: July 7, 2026
• Owner notification: Safety-risk letters mailed August 27, 2026. Additional letters will follow when the remedy is available.
• Defect: Subaru of America, Inc. (Subaru) is recalling certain 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid, 2025-2026 Forester Hybrid, Forester, and 2019-2026 Ascent vehicles. These vehicles were manufactured with an incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) on the certification label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 110, “Tire selection and rims.”
• Safety consequence: An incorrect GAWR label may lead to an overloaded vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
• Remedy: Subaru will mail a new certification label to owners, free of charge. Owners may also choose to have a dealer install the new label, free of charge. Letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed August 27, 2026. Additional letters will be mailed once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Subaru customer service at 1-844-373-6614. Subaru’s number for this recall is WRH-26.

Toyota Camry Hybrid: instrument display and lighting functions

The affected Camry Hybrids have a specific 7-inch instrument display. A startup fault can blank the cluster and disable turn signals, hazard lamps and certain warnings. The remedy updates the display software.

• Report received: August 6, 2026
• Owner notification: Owner letters planned for September 21–October 5, 2026; NHTSA lists September 21 as the expected mailing start.
• Defect: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Camry Hybrid vehicles. The instrument cluster display may fail during vehicle startup, deactivating the hazard lights, turn signals, seat belt warning system, and smart key reminder. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 101, “Control and Displays,” 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment,” 114, “Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention,” and 208, “Occupant Crash Protection.”
• Safety consequence: An instrument cluster that fails to display critical safety information increases the risk of a crash or injury.
• Remedy: Dealers will update the display software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 21, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota’s customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota’s numbers for this recall are 26TB16 and 26TA16.

Kia Telluride: power-seat motor fire risk

Kia advises affected owners to park outside and away from structures until the repair is complete. The repair adds an electronic fuse assembly. Vehicles repaired under recall 24V407 still require this new remedy.

• Owner notification: The record lists August 13, 2026 as the expected mailing date; completion has not been confirmed in the reviewed record.
• Defect: Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Telluride vehicles. The front power seat motor may overheat due to a stuck power seat slide knob or an improper recall 24V407 repair, which can result in a fire while parked or driving.
• Safety consequence: A fire increases the risk of injury.
• Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will install an electronic fuse assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 13, 2026. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542. Kia’s number for this recall is SC374. This recall replaces NHTSA recall number 24V407. Vehicles already repaired under the previous recall will need to have the new remedy completed. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning July 17, 2026.
