Source: NHTSA vehicle recall records imported into RecallWire’s database.

All available history means every imported vehicle recall campaign, with no five-year cutoff. Model years may predate a campaign’s filing date. Source coverage can lag new filings.

Potentially affected vehicles adds reported campaign populations. A vehicle may appear in more than one campaign. Missing populations are excluded from totals and medians; genuine zeroes are included. Unknown model years are retained in campaign totals but excluded from model-year rankings.

A make, model and year selection must match the same vehicle application. Other applications within that campaign remain visible in its details. Statistics do not establish a specific vehicle’s eligibility or repair status. Use the official NHTSA VIN lookup to check your vehicle.
