FORD RANGER recall: Center screen power loss
Ford Ranger vehicles with the specified center screen may lose the rearview camera image; the official record says a repair is still under development.

A center display may lose power, leaving the rearview camera image unavailable. The official record says this can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle and increase crash risk. It does not yet specify the repair.
What the official recall record says
FORD: RANGER
The specified center screen may lose power and fail to show the rearview camera image, a condition identified in the official record as not meeting rear-visibility requirements. Without that image, the driver’s view behind the vehicle is reduced, which the record says can increase crash risk.
