What the official recall record says

CHEVROLET, GMC: SILVERADO 1500, SILVERADO 2500, SILVERADO 3500 and other models

The roof rail airbag inflator may release its end cap or rupture along its sidewall. That failure can allow compressed gas to escape and can send the end cap or inflator fragments into the vehicle, creating the stated injury risk. Dealers will replace both roof rail airbag modules free of charge.
