ALTEC AA SERIES AERIAL DEVICE recall: Delayed automatic braking response
Altec AA Series Aerial Device, AM Series Aerial Device, and Digger Derrick vehicles may have an automatic braking system that needs recalibration; Altec will update, recalibrate, and test the system free of charge.

The official record describes a collision-mitigation system whose front radar equipment was moved without a corresponding recalibration. That can delay the system’s braking response, which the record says can raise crash risk.
What the official recall record says
ALTEC: AA SERIES AERIAL DEVICE, AM SERIES AERIAL DEVICE, DIGGER DERRICK
After the front radar box was relocated, the Bendix automatic braking system was not recalibrated. As a result, braking assistance may respond later than intended, increasing crash risk. Altec will update the collision-mitigation settings, recalibrate the system, and test it at no charge.
