Certain International HV and MV trucks face a battery-cable fire risk. See affected years, the park-outside advisory and recall 26V459000.

A battery interconnect cable can touch nearby hardware and cause a short circuit, increasing the risk of fire. NHTSA lists 15,628 potentially affected vehicles. Vehicles repaired under earlier recall 25V534 still require the new remedy.

What owners should do
