## At a glance

- Manufacturer: CHRYSLER
- Vehicle: PACIFICA
- NHTSA campaigns: 26V531000
- Potentially affected: 844,027

> Official recall facts are attributed to NHTSA. The surrounding summary and owner guidance are RecallWire editorial work. A campaign or model match does not confirm an individual vehicle’s recall or repair status; use the [official NHTSA VIN lookup](https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls).

Owners of affected Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles should pay attention to a rearview-camera display problem that can occur when backing up. The listed remedy is a radio-software update performed by a dealer or delivered over the air.

## What the official recall record says

### CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP, RAM: PACIFICA, PACIFICA PLUG-IN HYBRID, VOYAGER and other models

The rearview camera image may fail to appear after the vehicle is placed in reverse. That can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle and raise crash risk. The remedy calls for a radio-software update, either through a dealer or an over-the-air update, at no charge.

The rearview camera image may fail to display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
- **Safety consequence:** A rearview camera image that fails to display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
- **Remedy:** Radio software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning September 2, 2026.
